How to play
Goal
Reveal the hidden picture by satisfying every row and column clue exactly.
- How do the numbers describe a picture?
- Numbers give consecutive filled-run lengths. Read row clues left to right and column clues top to bottom, with at least one empty square between runs. A 5 fills a five-square line; 2, 2 in five spaces means two fills, one empty, then two fills. Both axes must agree.
- How do I mark empty space or correct a square?
- Tap or press a square to cycle unknown → filled → crossed → unknown. A cross records a known empty square but is optional. A clue of 0 means the whole line is empty. Correct any mistake by cycling the mark again; marking errors do not lose or cost points.
- How can I find a certain fill?
- Compare possible positions of a run. A run of three in a five-square line always covers the center, even though its ends may be undecided. Use such overlaps and the crossing clues to continue without guessing.
- When is a picture complete?
- The filled pattern must satisfy every row and column clue. Shipped puzzles have unique solutions. Empty squares may stay unknown; they need not all be crossed. Completion awards a fixed 1,000 points.
- Which board sizes are available?
- The collection has 57 puzzles: fifteen 5 by 5, twenty-four 10 by 10 and eighteen 15 by 15. The authored pictures include recognizable symbols, objects, flowers and animals. Everyone follows the same fixed order, which mixes grid sizes and picture types; no runtime shuffle is used. The same run and gap rules apply at every size. Previous and Next Puzzle browse the collection; Restart clears marks on the current picture. Use contained scrolling on large boards.
- What do difficulty and assistance change?
- Every difficulty starts at Puzzle 1 and follows the same fixed, varied sequence. Relaxed gives five hints, Standard gives three, and Challenge gives none. Normal Hint identifies a forced cell from visible clues. Undo restores the last marking state. Lessons use small prepared positions and do not alter normal records or saved pictures.
