Goal

Remove every tile by matching pairs of free tiles.

Which tiles match?

Select two free matching tiles with pointer, touch or Tab and Enter. Ordinary circle, bamboo, character, wind and dragon tiles must match exactly. Any two flowers match each other, and any two seasons match each other, even when their pictures differ. Flowers do not match seasons.

What makes a tile free?

Nothing can cover the tile, and at least one horizontal side must be open. A tile blocked on both left and right cannot move. An upper tile can block a lower one even when only partly overlapping. Clear upper pairs and side neighbors to free tiles beneath or between them.

What can I do when no pair is available?

Use Reshuffle when no useful match remains. It gives the remaining tiles a complete clearing path and preserves removed tiles and score. If the stack itself is trapped, remaining tiles move to a solvable layout. Earlier Undo moves are cleared because tile faces may change; new matches can still be undone.

How many reshuffles are available?

Relaxed has unlimited reshuffles. Standard allows 15 reshuffles per game, and Challenge allows 5. Standard and Challenge end when no pairs or reshuffles remain. Each reshuffle provides a full clearing path, though later choices can block it again. Challenge disables normal Hint. Lesson Hint is always available; the starter course uses Standard.

How does a board finish?

Each removed pair earns 100 points; selecting one tile earns nothing. A normal board has 144 tiles in 72 pairs, for 7,200 points when cleared. Remove every tile to win. Undo restores a removed pair and subtracts its 100 points. Normal bests and records are separate from practice.
